HELPFUL DETAILS ABOUT CAMPING

HELPFUL DETAILS ABOUT CAMPING

WeWork Summer Camp is a weekend-long event and all tickets include either a pre-pitched tent or the option to bring your own, both with boutique facilities. Prices vary based on the sleeping options you select. Before purchasing your tickets, please take the time to understand the different campsites and tent options.

Campsites have been designed to fit every camper's needs—from those who simply want to show up and enjoy the quiet of the countryside, to the true outdoor enthusiasts who want to pitch their own tents. Tents offered in each campsite compliment their respective vibes and are listed here for a helpful reference.

Tents will be sold with an individual number. Each unique number will correspond with a tent in a specific campsite (A = Up Til Dawn, B = Ridge, C = Quiet). If you and your friends want to stay in the same tent, make sure you buy tickets in a tent with the same number (for example, if you purchase a bed in tent #A005, your friends should purchase spots in tent #A005). If you have a group that'll be taking multiple tents and you want to be next to one another, you will need to buy tickets in consecutive tents (e.g. tents #A005, #A006, and #A007).

CAMPSITES

CAMPSITES

All camping at Summer Camp will be located in the fields just next to the main entrance. From the camping field, you can enjoy a quick walk down to the boating and swimming lake, and cross the bridge and enter the main arena, or jump on a shuttle for a short ride to the sports field. The campsites (listed below) will all have luxury showers and toilets with a views of the beautiful surrounding woods and lakes.

RIDGE CAMPING

This is the main, centrally located campsite where the majority of the pre-pitched tents are based. After you check-in and enter the main event gates, you'll walk right into the Ridge campsite so you don't have to go far with your bags. Ridge Camping is located between the Up Til Dawn and Quiet Camping areas. Your tent will be ready to go when you arrive—you just need to bring your bedding. Tents available in this area include:

  • Pop-up Room: 1 double bed or 2 twin beds
  • Pop-up Suite: 1 double bed or 2 twin beds
  • 2-person Ridgeline Singles Tent: 2 single airbeds
  • 3-person Group Singles Tent: 3 single airbeds
  • 4-person Tipi: 4 single airbeds
  • 4-person Bell Tent: 4 single airbeds
  • 4-person Ridgeline Doubles Tent: 2 double airbeds
  • 4-person Flex-o-tent: 2 bunk beds (4 single beds total)
  • 'Solo' tents are available in 4-person tipis located in Ridge camping. Select the 'Traveling Solo' option when purchasing your ticket if you are traveling alone and want to meet fellow solo campers.

QUIET CAMPING

If you're looking for a quieter experience and value your shuteye, this campsite is for you. Quiet Camping is located furthest away from the main arena, nestled into the trees in the corner of the camping field. This area will have an 11:00p.m. (23:00) curfew. Anyone being too noisy in this area after that time will be asked to politely leave the area or step into their tents. Tents available in Quiet Camping are perfect for campers who want their own private bedroom pod or are traveling with a few friends but still want a bit of quiet. Tents available in this area include:

  • 2-person Ridgeline Singles Tent: 2 single airbeds
  • 3-person Bell Tent: 3 single airbeds
  • 3-person Group Singles Tent: 3 single airbeds

UP TIL DAWN CAMPING

This campsite is located closest to the main arena and the late night venues. You get the convenience of having the shortest walk, but the noise might carry from the late night venue. This is the spot for night-owl campers and sunrise chasers. Amplified music is not allowed after 11:00pm, but voices can carry and this area might get a bit noisy. Tents available in this area include:

  • 4-person Ridgeline Doubles Tent: 2 double airbeds (two people per double bed - for those who want to share a bed)
  • 5-person Bell Tent: 5 single airbeds
  • 6-person Tipi: 6 single airbeds
  • 6-person Group Doubles Tent: 3 double airbeds (two people per double bed - for those who want to share a bed)

BYOT CAMPING

CAMPSITE RULES & INFO

CAMPSITE RULES & INFO

CAMPSITE RULES

  • Absolutely no campfires or cooking are allowed in the campsite or anywhere during the event. We will be providing bonfires in designated areas so you'll still be able to go back to your tent warmed up and smelling like woodsmoke.
  • Leave no trace. Take home all of your possessions and camping equipment, including your tent spikes and cigarette butts. Throw out all of your rubbish and leave your camping area spotless. The Summer Camp site isn't always a camp, so be friendly to the livestock that'll be moving back in after you leave.
  • If you are bringing your own tent...
    • You can only set up your tent in the designated BYOT area. If you set up your tent outside of this area, you will be asked to move your tent. There will be absolutely no camping allowed on fire lanes and walkways or outside of designated areas.
    • If you select a "BYOT I'm in for the ride" ticket, you are not provided a pitch site.

HELPFUL CAMPING TIPS

  • Showers, toilets, and hand-washing facilities will be open and staffed 24-hours a day. Make sure to pack your own toiletries and avoid the early morning shower rush by taking one in the afternoon.
  • A breakfast dining tent will be in the campsite for your early-morning needs. Don't feel like walking to the main arena for a full English Breakfast? Pop in here for a coffee and a pastry before your morning swim.
  • There will be lockers free of charge located within the campsite. Space is limited, however, so it's first come, first served. Lockers will only accommodate small personal effects like wallets, cell phones, and laptops. Suitcases and luggage will not fit. Make sure to retrieve your items before you leave camp on Sunday. All unclaimed items will be held for 15 days after Summer Camp. Any items left after then will be donated to charity.
  • If you are bringing your own tent...
    • Set up and check your tent before you leave home. Make sure you have all the poles, guy ropes, etc. and you know how to pitch it. Nothing is worse than arriving at camp and finding that you're missing a groundsheet.
    • Find a way to personalize your tent so you can find it in the sea of BYOTs.
